WSET Level 2 Distance Learning is a 5-week, 6-module online program, with a recommended 6 hours of study per week to cover the online activities and read the associated chapters in the textbook.
Access to and regular participation in the course’s online activities are essential for this mode of study.
The course prepares students for the exam and is guided by a WSET Educator.
The course structure allows students to work ahead or catch up on activities and forums. There are no set times to connect to the course, as there are no live chats or Webinars.
Each module includes a series of independent activities to help students understand wine label terminology and recognize the styles produced by the main grape varieties in the main wine-growing regions.

Certification validation
The exam must be taken under the supervision of a trainer. No exams will be taken ONLINE.

You choose your exam date when you order your ONLINE PASS.
- 50-question MCQ in 1 hour
- 55% of answers must be correct to validate the diploma.
Copies are sent and corrected in London.
Results are sent at least 3 weeks later by e-mail and the diploma by post.
Candidates who fail the exam may retake it at a subsequent session, at an additional cost due to registration.
