module 1 . discover The different trades involved in event catering

  • The caterer and reception organizer (TOR).
  • The salesman.
  • The cook, the pastry chef.
  • The logistician.
  • The coordinator or project manager.
  • The maître d’ in charge.
  • The head waiter.
  • The officer

module 2 . discover the different events and their characteristics

Private: weddings, christenings, birthdays…

  • General public: cultural and sporting events…
  • Professionals: conferences, conventions, product launches…
  • Hierarchy of functions according to type of event and clientele.

module 3. Defining working conditions, legislation and labour law

  • Staggered working hours, extras, mobility, adaptability to different locations.
  • The different employment contracts.

Certification validation

  • Assessment of skills by MCQ
  • How to obtain the “Butler Academy” internal certificate: 70% of answers must be correct to validate the certificate.
  • At the end of the training, a certificate will be given to the beneficiaries specifying the nature, skills acquired and duration of the training.
